Our hotel is within walking distance of just about everything we could want (parks, shops, banks, etc.) Mountains create a beautiful backdrop for our enjoyment. We explored the area for a few hours today. It felt a lot like New York City and Boston to us. Very busy streets with people and businesses, along with nice parks for escaping the rat race. Lucia especially loved the park and playground. Tomorrow, we meet Helena at 9:45 and she will drive us to CRAN for our 10:30 appointment to adopt Silas. We are soooo excited and can hardly wait. Lucia is doing great with all the adjustments. When we were video taping her earlier and asked what she would like to say to Silas, she said, "I love you Silas and cannot wait to adopt you." Tears of joy on our faces.
